The school population consists of mostly low-income families with 92% of the students living under the poverty level. Many of our students are at risk for poor academic achievement. We have students from many different backgrounds and with multiple needs that need to be met each and every day. The needs can range from learn disabilities to helping them acquire the English language. My classroom consists of twenty students with many needs (like those listed above). Every day presents a unique challenge. The staff along with myself are deeply committed to making sure each student had the chance to succeed in their school career. Thank you for taking time to review my projects and helping them come to life.
