  • Read Little Rock Stars!

    WOW! I am so incredibly humbled by your generosity. Your donations have made such an impact to my classroom. When the new books arrived my students could not wait to unbox them! We looked at each book and read the synopsis to see what new adventures we would discover while reading. Many rounds of rock, paper, scissors were played to determine who would get to read each book first. My students are so amazing they even made a sign out sheet for the most popular books with a waiting list.

    I am a firm believer that ever child (and yes, even every adult) is a reader. It is just a matter of finding the right book for each person. Students loved seeing books with characters that looked like them. As they read they can make connections to these characters and in a way it can be therapeutic.

    I am so grateful for the wonderful humans who support the work I do and my students year after year. Thank you again from the deepest part of my heart.”
