"I Can't See The Board!" "What Board?"

Thank you for your generous donation to fund my project through DonorsChoose.org. The students and I are looking forward to using the board and supplies that you have been so kind to provide. I am looking forward to seeing the faces of the children as they realize that reading is much easier when they can actually see what is written. The whiteboard, the dry-erase markers, the transparency film, and the transparency markers are all essential in using the terrific curriculum chosen to help the kids with their writing strategies and reading skills. Again, thank you for your very kind donation.

Can't see the board? What board? We have the projector, but because we share the back half of a classroom, we do not have a chalkboard or marker board on which to project images for our daily reading and writing lessons. The students have a lot of trouble seeing images projected on the bumpy yellow cinder block walls of our classroom. I teach special education language arts classes to 8th through 12th grade students in a high needs community high school.
