  • Build Our 3D World!

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

My students and I are extremely grateful for the 3D printers. We have been able to design and build labels for our Robotics class as well as robotics club.

We also learned how to use 3D modeling software and were able to collaborate with our robotics teams to come up with the best design for our robot label. These 3D printers and the filament spools we received have given us the opportunity to learn a new skill and to make our class more innovative and interesting.

We appreciate your generosity and kindness.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sharma

  • Watch Stress and Anxiety Melt Away!

    Funded Jan 12, 2022

Who could have imagined that high school students would be fighting over dinosaur plush toys! Well it happens in my class almost everyday. I get complaints about either the Tyrannosaurus or "Green Dinosaur" missing :)

The pop its and pipe cleaners have also been a great hit with students. I'll often see students walk up in the middle of class to switch out a stress relief toy. Many students are more focused on tasks when they have somethin to fidget with, while working.

I have received several comments and compliments from teachers subbing for me or visiting my class on how the students seem calmer and more focused in my class.

Thank you for your generosity and support.”

  • Watch Stress and Anxiety Melt Away! (part 2)

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

I cannot even begin to explain what a big hot the resources from this project have been in all my classes.

Students enter the class and in many cases rush to find their favorite squishy toy. Some are held in their hands for comfort, while others end up on top of their computer screens, or by their keyboards.

The wiki-stix and Origami are a great little project for after-testing times, when students just need to unwind and relax.

Every time I take out a new kind of 'stress relief toy', it is like Christmas in my class. I am so appreciative of all the continued generosity and support for my student projects.”

  • Breakout to Collaborate!

    Funded Dec 14, 2021

My students and I are so grateful for the BreakOut Edu materials. Students will be using these resources to help them review content at the end of the school year. We have already been using the online version as a brain break activity and we are now ready to launch the physical BreaKOut Edu kits.

As always, I am always looking for opportunities to incorporate group activities and team building opportunities in my classroom and thanks to the generosity of all the donors, we are now able to work in teams and continue to learn collaboratively!”
