I teach pre-k in a very low socioeconomic area. Although they might not have much, they are so excited to come to school and learn. I want to keep that excitement in them through the rest of their schooling. They love Pete the Cat books. They sing the Groovy Buttons song everyday. I want them to grow up to be smart, educated young members of our society. By having a solid foundation in pre-k, they can go on and become teachers, doctors, or anything else they want to be. They would love it if we could have more Pete the Cat books to read in school. Come sing along with us by helping us reach our goal of obtaining new Pete the Cat books! "My buttons, my buttons, my four groovy buttons!"
