My students are very diverse, we have many different cultures represented within the Hispanic cultures. Many are eager to learn and do not have access to books and other materials at home to practice what we are learning at school. Other students are harder to engage and need that extra push to help them succeed. They love to be creative and have opportunities to do that. My school is in a low-income area. The school is on a hundred percent free lunch. We have a very caring staff and wonderful students who work hard everyday to succeed. For as many hardships as many of my students have, I am so proud and inspired by how hard they work and want to succeed for their futures.
