I have 22 wonderful scholars in my first grade classroom. They love to learn and are eager to do so every minute of the school day. My students come from a low socioeconomic class and for most, school is their safe zone. It is my goal to make sure their classroom feels like a safe and engaging environment for them. Most of my students do not want to leave at the end of the day and would rather stay at school and learn! I love seeing the passion they have for learning. Everyday is a new day and a new challenge for them but their success is heart warming. This group of kids are making me a better teacher by the minute!
