Hydroponics & Conventional Farming
Funded Feb 6, 2023I want to thank you so much for your generous donation to our hydroponics lab. The students were so excited to use the magnifying glasses to observe items they found in the garden as well as taking a closer look at flowers and seeds.
They were able to work in pairs and shared a magnifying glass to observe the parts of the flower. The stools made it possible for students to sit at the round table to observe the items that were found in nature as well as in the classroom.
When we did our PH water testing unit the students were able to use the microscopes to see the microscopic movement of the pollen in the water.
For these students, this lab is an introduction to the world of science. With the proper tools, children are exposed to a hands-on approach to learning which makes learning fun and enjoyable. From the smiles on their faces and the chatter around the classroom, I know that my students have truly enjoyed these additions to our lab.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Russell
