Equipment for PE

Thank you all for your desire and commitment to give to my students! Many of my students are lacking in these positive experiences in their lives, when something is given to them and only to them. When I told my classes that strangers gave their own money for new equipment just for them, they were shocked, and didn't understand why someone would do that. I appreciate and took advantage of having that opportunity to teach more about kindness, generosity, selflessness, and the sense of giving back to your community once you have grown up and have found success from that community that helped to raise you. They look forward to using the balance beam during our gymnastics unit and having our own volleyballs to use whenever we want rather than just in the volley unit when we would borrow from another school. My Pre-K students love the animal spots and it really helps get them moving in more creative ways.
