No More Distractions
Funded Nov 2, 2023Thank you so much for you donations. With your financial contribution I have been able to give my students new headphones appropriate for preschoolers. They were super excited to help me unbox the headphones and were eager to put them to use. Headphones are a must in our classroom as we use them daily with our classroom ipads. Students can explore websites such as Starfall and ABCya and there are no distractions to those students participating in other classroom centers. They love the owl headphones and how comfortable they are. Thank you so much!!!”

Funded Oct 29, 2023I have received the MacBook Air laptop and for that I am extremely thankful. Having a new laptop is so helpful as I use it for everything in my classroom. As soon as I received the laptop, I put it to good use. Since then, I have written individual education programs for 3 of my students and have designed a flyer for 'Black History Month.' I have used it to project music and movement videos and powerpoint presentations on screen for my students. You made this possible with your financial contribution to my Donors Choose project. Again, thank you so so so much! YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE!”

Funded Oct 30, 2023I cannot begin to tell you how excited my students were when they saw the light table in action. They were mesmerized by the color changing function and eager to begin using the light table. I can truly say you have made 10 little munchkins extremely happy an excited to use the light table. Your generous donation did not go unnoticed and I'm reminded of it whenever we use the table.
I have incorporated the light table to our block center as the light table is large and fits well in that center. Whenever the center is open to students they request to use the light table along with the manipulatives it came with. None of this would be possible without your donation.”

Funded Aug 22, 2023My students love the table top materials they received and was made possible with your monetary donations. When we received and unboxed the Royal Kingdom adventure castle and the Fairyland play set, their faces lit up with happiness and were super excited. Their reactions were priceless! With your donation, you helped put a smile on their faces. There are no words to describe how thankful I am for all the donations received that helped fund my project. Now, we have two new items in our table top center, which students can use and help support the development of many skills. Skills such as building postural control, supporting midline-crossing skills, and boosting emergent writing skills. Again, Thank you so much!”

Funded Mar 28, 2023The material received for the calm down center are being used daily. Students were excited to sit on the tear drop beanbag that I placed inside the nature themed canopy. Thanks to your generous donations my students have a safe and soothing place they can go when they are feeling overwhelmed or upset. My students love to take a moment in the calm down corner to relax. As they relax, they can explore photo cards that are perfect for them to recognize and express their feelings. They can also use sensory material and a sand timer to monitor their time in the calm down center. Without your donation none of these would have been possible. A million thank yours!”

My students were thrilled to see the new equipment on the yard. They had fun exploring the crawl and climb caterpillar during outdoor play. This helps with fortifying their gross motor development. Funded Sep 23, 2015I would like to take this opportunity and thank you all for your generosity. Your financial contribution was able to bring many instructional materials into our classroom. My students were surprised and excited to use the material. With your generous support, we received alphabet sponge painters, (among other things), that my students love to use. Using alphabet sponges reinforces learning alphabet letters and/or becoming familiar with them, constructing and sequencing letters to create names and small words and helps with hand and eye coordination.
We also received a real bugs discovery kit that students have access to in the science center. I can honestly say they love to look at the specimens through magnifying glasses. Students can explore the bugs that are permanently encased in indestructible acrylic, making it easy for them to look at the bug from every angle. They are fascinated by the bugs and ask lots of questions.
Without your help my students would never have had these amazing instructional material.”
