Covid-19 has taken its toll on my students' academic progress. With Chromebooks, my students can access Lexia, a phonics program that identifies what each student needs to become a proficient reader. My goal is for all students to read at grade level. My students will also use iReady, a math diagnostic program that identifies math concepts my students are lacking. iReady assigns lessons that will help my students with those concepts. I can also assign lessons to students that need extra support in specific areas. With enough Chromebooks, our students will be able to work on their academic level and receive lessons tailored to what they need in reading and math. I also get notifications about what my students need additional instruction on so I can offer that support with interventions in class.
