Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project, and for helping to fund our carpet! At the beginning of the year we were using two old carpets put together, and there just wasn't enough space for everyone. The new carpet is huge and perfect for whole group activities.

Since it arrived, the carpet has become a crucial center of classroom activity. We start our day on the carpet for morning meeting; we sit on the carpet to listen to stories read aloud; we convene for writer's workshop there, have math lessons, and close out our day with an afternoon meeting. I can't begin to tell you what an important part of our classroom it is.
