Remote Learners
Funded Apr 11, 2021The day my students received the supplies from the donor's choose, they were excited and shared the materials with me in zoom classroom. The donor's made learning possible for my remote learners by providing supplies. The students used markers , alphabet cards, numbers and they stored after each lesson in the bag that was provided . The geometric solids will be used in kindergarten and above. Students were trilled to create and to learn colors , shapes, and size using the large tall stacker peg set . The wonderful alphabet puzzle helps them to recognize letters and letter names. Thank you so much for all those who brought light of learning for my remote learners during the pandemic.”

Pre- K Remote Learners
Funded Dec 18, 2020Thank you very much for your generosity. We at community school 111Q Pre- K remote students and I greatly appreciate your donation. Your support is very helpful while students are learning remotely due to the pandemic. Together we are making a difference in young learner's life long learning. My students were happy to receive the gift of generosity with great joy. The materials that they received are very important for them to shine while learning their lessons in zoom. Everyday we write letters using the markers, draw pictures with crayons, Count numbers with counting bears, learn alphabet with alphabet cards, sing songs from the nursery rhyme book, read stories, and use the calendar to learn the day and the date. Students in break time use their play dough and soft ball to develop their fine motor skills. "The Buddha said that no true spiritual life is possible without a generous heart. Generosity allies itself with an inner feeling of abundance—the feeling that we have enough to share." I once again thank everyone for their noble support in light the lamp of learning.”

Carpet for Kids
Funded Dec 3, 2019The block area rug has provided a cushiony barrier to keep our wooden vehicles and blocks in pristine condition. The variety of textured blocks and plastic logos can be used to construct buildings on each of the rug's shapes/city blocks while the children use the blue space as a road/path. Also, this unit's central focus on transportation has allowed for a better understanding of the wooden road signs. Similarly, our classroom's train and tracks has often been manipulated to weave through the designs of the rug and stop at farms, garages, houses, firehouses and schools along the way. Students enjoy playing in the block area now with more comfort and make their imaginary creations. Overall the carpet is the building bridge for children's friendship whenever they chose the the block center.”
