My students attend a title I middle school in a urban setting. They are primarily African-Americans with all other ethnic groups added in. Our students are also a mixture of optional, regular, and special education. Some of our students are of a middle class background but most are at or below the poverty line, this being the reason for us being designated a Title I school.
