These books will be used to run literature circles to enrich student learning. They will help grow my students' love of learning and reading. Each book is the first in a series. This introduces learners to the series and they can continue to explore the series at home and with library books on their own. Learners will develop literacy skills, comprehension skills, writing skills, and listening and speaking skills. They will work on reading the chapters independently and answering questions. They will then meet in a group to discuss the chapter and questions answered. Learners are very excited about this opportunity and are eager to get their hands on new books!
