Not Asking for a Kidney, Just a Kidney Table

Once again, I would like to thank you for donating money towards the purchase of my classroom kidney table. Your kindness and generosity are appreciated more than you know.

My sixth graders have been hard at work improving their math skills. Recently, students have been working on simplifying expressions. This can be a difficult concept for students so they have used each other as peer tutors. The kidney table has helped facilitate the peer learning. Some students have even taken great pleasure in using the "teacher spot" to work with fellow classmates.

The table will continue to provide small group instruction as I intended. It is difficult to help all 33 students (per class), but this allows me to reach all my students successfully during our intervention time.
