Odds and Ends
Funded May 9, 2023I don't know how to express my complete gratitude for this project. I really, really, needed help providing my students with these items to refill our bean bag, the card stock to copy all the end of the year awards, the Ziplocs to sent my kids items home with their supplies, and the carpet grips to keep all of us from having an accident. You are the best. I promise this years class and next years class will benefit from your generosity. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. Money is getting tight and without you my students would not receive these resources and have to do without.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Menard

Funded Mar 25, 2023Thank you so much for your very generous donation to our first grade project. I can't wait to have this Mother's Day tea in our first grade classroom. Honoring those that take care of my firsties is so very important. I want these ladies to feel important, seen, and appreciated. I want to give them a special day with just them and their child.
I am looking forward to putting together many activities and decorating our classroom in a way that feels inviting and special. Thank you so much for making this happen.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Menard
Classroom Sprinkles!
Funded Feb 14, 2023Thank you so much for the donation to our first grade classroom. We needed these supplies desperately. The air freshener will definitely help! The plastic sleeves will be used daily to help complete our math lessons.
The penpal pencil grips are a lifesaver. It keeps my first graders responsible for keeping their pencils out and ready to go. It also stops all the rolling pencils that are found on the floor by the janitor and thrown away with the trash.
Thank you for helping my first graders with these supplies. We will put them to good use.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Menard
Ink, Soil, Treasure!
Funded Jan 10, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to our first grade classroom. The ink really came in handy. I was able to print many hands on activities in our classroom that are on a first grade level to enhance our learning.
We were able to celebrate our fairy tale unit by planting bean seeds after reading Jack in the Beanstalk. My first graders loved having a hands on experience with dirt and seeds and watching the life cycle of a seed.
Thanks for the added prizes to be added to our treasure chest. My students love being rewarded for reading AR books.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Menard
Christmas Fun!
Funded Dec 6, 2022Thank you so much for choosing to donate to our first grade classroom. We were able to complete many different projects within our classroom to celebrate the Christmas holiday. We celebrated by watching the Polar Express and making pancakes with the griddle and hot chocolate in our classroom. The students really enjoyed being able to wear their Christmas pajamas to enjoy their breakfast meal.
We were able to use the socks to create a snowman rice craft. We were able to send them home as a gift for our parents because of your generosity.”

I am finally going to have a beautiful Christmas Tree to share with my first grade students. We are going to decorate it with ornaments and other decorations make it our own. Christmas is a wonderful time of year especially for the younger students.

Funded Oct 31, 2022Thank you so much for the construction paper, the paper towels, the metal mailbox, Manilla folders, and the damp rid. I plan on using these materials for many different projects. The construction paper will be used with silver stars to make constellations with my first graders. The metal mailbox will be used to turn in notes to the teacher. The manilla folders will be used to hold vocabulary words and many center game pieces. The damp rid will be used to keep our very old classroom smelling fresh and clean.
Thank you so much for your continued support. It is greatly appreciated.”

Creative Resources
Funded Sep 9, 2022Thank you so much for the teachers pay teachers (website) giftcard. It really makes a teachers job so much easier and provides standard based projects made from real teachers. So, not only are you helping me but you are also supporting another teacher as well. I have already used it to purchase two different projects that have been completed in our classroom. While learning about Ancient Mesopotamia we learned how to write using their symbols. We were able to understand how learning another language is a hard task but it you keep working at it you will always get better and better.
We also learned about informational text and wrote our first one too. We learned about Bats. We watched videos on them and then wrote facts to share with our hallway. Thank you so much for your support.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Menard
Reading Treasure
Funded Oct 12, 2022My students jump up and down every time a box is delivered to our classroom. We are so appreciative and cannot thank you enough for your generosity. I can share with you that AR also called Accelerated Reading, has become one of the most popular things to do in our classroom thanks to you. This program allows students to read a book and then take a 5 question comprehension test on it. If they get all questions right they then get to punch a hole in their incentive card. When they take ten test they then get to visit our new spruced up (again thanks to you) treasure chest. They are already talking about what they are going to pick as they are reading their books. Thank you so much for supporting our classroom.”

Ms. Menard

Funded Jul 18, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. You have made my life so much easier as a first grade teacher. Organization is always a struggle because their are always so many papers. We are excited about growing crystals in our classroom too. Hands on activities are always fun and memorable lessons.
This project would never have been possible without your support. I am so lucky to have so many people that back me and my first graders. We appreciate you more than you will ever know.”
