• It's a Wrap

  I would like to thank each and every one of our donors. My first graders were extremely excited when packages started arriving in our classroom. Basic supplies are always needed and ziplocs are one of those items.

  We will use the ziplocs to hold manipulatives for math lessons, pieces for craft projects, and food for holiday celebrations.

  I would also like to thank our donors for the accordian envelopes. These will be used by me to organize our units. It will help me keep all supplies and activities in one place so that I can easily find materials when needed.”

• Celebrate Good Times!

  I would like to thank every person who has contributed to the completion of this project for my first grade classroom. We were able to purchase needed supplies to make some of our holiday celebrations more special than they would have been.

  My first graders enjoyed celebrating the 101 days of school. We were currently working on all of our Mother's Day projects. We are making keychains out of our shrinky dinks and adding tassels to them. Each student is writing a special message to his or her mom to share with them.”

• Cuddle Time

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. My first graders are absolutely in love with our new classroom couch. The reading has taken off and I cannot keep books out of their hands. This would not have been possible without you!

  First graders are allowed to select a book and cuddle up in the cozy classroom library. They are reading now more than ever before. I am so grateful to you for selecting my kiddos and my classroom to help. The cheers were so loud when our box arrived and the kiddos saw the couch. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. Thank you!”

• Celebrate Good Times!

  Thank you so much for the photo frames that will be used to place Easter art projects in. We will be sending these home for decorations for his or her homes and gifts for parents. The flower pots will be decorated by students. We will then learn about the life cycle of a seed and plant flowers within the pots. These will be given to our mother's at our Mother's Day Tea Program. These projects would not have been possible without these generous donations. My first graders are going to love the hands on crafts and celebrating the holidays.”

• Author's Chair

  I am so excited to have a new chair to share with my first graders. They all took turns sitting in it today and I can already see a seating chart will be needed. The books in our library are going to be flying off the shelves. Which I love very, very much. Because of you my students can't wait to take their turn in the authors chair and read a story to the class.

• Snack Attack

  Thank you so much for your very generous donation to our first grade classroom. We were so excited when the boxes arrived and could not unpack them fast enough. My kiddos were so happy and jumping for joy.

  This project would not have been possible without you! It makes my heart so happy to know that my kiddos will not go hungry during snack time and EVERY child will enjoy a snack everyday. By helping to donated these snacks you have also helped with the financial strain on parents within our community.

• Animal Fun

  I am so very grateful for your generous donation to our first grade classroom. Thank you so much. The lamination packets will be used to create many crafts and centers. The animal book will provide us with lots of facts. We share an animal fact every morning. The step ladder will come in handy when I am having to hang items in the classroom. My first grade students were very excited when we received our packages. We unpacked them immediately and began flipping through our new book. • Things Are Heating Up!

  Thank you so much for your very generous donations to our first grade classroom. We were in dire need of a microwave for our classroom since our last one went kaput. It's funny how you don't realize how much something is needed until you have to do without it. We are very excited about our new classroom appliance and can't wait to start using it again to perform experiments, and heat lunches.
