My students are high school students in Special Education. They all have unique needs and they are unique students. I have students that have Autism, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disturbances, Asperger Syndrome, Prater Willy Syndrome and many more disabilities. They have high expectations for their education and I do as well. I want them to be successful and need materials in order to enable them to be their best. Students need to take the Smarter Balance assessments at the end of the school year and my students are not use to doing work on the computer. I have one old, missing buttons laptop and one, old teacher computer. Our computer labs are usually always booked up and my students could benefit from using computers on a daily basis. Our school is in a nice area of Orange County but we do have pockets of lower socio-economic families. Our school is a large school with a mix of all kinds of great students and staff.
