A Microsoft Surface Go would be perfect for my Prekindergartners who are just beginning to learn how to use computers. Most are very comfortable using a touchscreen so this is a great place to start their technology education. Currently, our class only has access to computers through their once a week technology class. Giving students the ability to explore and practice using technology skills, is an area I would like to expand upon in my classroom.
Daily access to our Microsoft Surface Go would mean that my Prekindergarteners could use a variety of educational websites to support their learning in multiple academic areas.
For example, Prekindergarteners could listen to and read along with books. The touchscreen would also make it very easy for my students to support their math skills with online manipulatives. Our weekly science books and magazine have interesting online games, videos, and stories that students can access. The possibilities that a Surface Go would bring to our classroom really are endless!
