Currently my students are very low income and are unable to sustain any extracurricular activities. If we can get the equipment to get them started to get a basketball team and at the same time teach them basic team building and skill building teams such as dribbling, passing, shooting and sportsmanship we will be able to have a successful season. We don't have enough money to sustain a team without the help of donors like you. My girls and boys would greatly benefit from being able to compete in a team sport and with your help we will be able to achieve that goal. The materials I am requesting include balls, bags, blocking pads, headbands (most of the girls have long hair), mouth guard (awkward braces age). I want to help them get their fundamentals of basic basketball principles, so that we can be a contender in our region as well as help build up their self confidence in their abilities to learn a sport.
