My students struggle with decoding, reading fluency, and basic math skills. These materials will assist my students in learning abstract concepts through concrete practice of skills. My students are overjoyed when they recognize words or apply a skill independently. These resources will help my students learn new skills with hands-on practice. The selected math and reading resources are aligned with the South Carolina College and Career Ready Standards. The reading fluency and comprehension resources will help my students accurately read and analyze texts for meaning and purpose. As a special education teacher, it is my passion and my goal to help my students close the gaps in their learning. Reading, writing, and math are integral parts of everyday living. My students need the skills necessary to live and function in the twenty-first century. The requested materials will help them learn these necessary skills and enable them to be independent citizens. Thank you for helping me help my students!
