I work in a Title I school in Salt Lake City. I have a diverse class of 3rd graders that consists of 20 wonderful kids from 6 countries. All of my students are part of the free lunch program. Despite the financial struggle my students are eager to learn. Students are more motivated when they are able to interact with exciting technology. Many of my students do not have the ability to access new technology in their homes. Therefore, I want to ensure that my students are keeping up with new technology at school. I have students that have a difficult time focusing and listening. However, when I give them a laptop with headphones, they are able to produce the best work. So I know that the headphones will rescue their behavior, attention, and focus.
