Math & STEM Manipulative Storage

Thank you so much for your generous donation! The students were so excited to reorganize the math area and get to the math tools they need! They supported their conceptual knowledge of division with counters, built an understanding of part-whole relationships with our fraction circles and strips and measured to the nearest 1/4 inch with our rulers. No instructional time was lost due to moving disorganized boxes and rumbling through cluttered containers. Thank you again for your generosity. Our students know that there are generous people in the world and will hopefully pay it forward when they have an opportunity.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Kia and 8 other donors.

Our 3rd grade students are an adorable mix of ELLs, Special Ed students with IEPs for learning disabilities and speech and language impairments and Gen Ed students. They have different learning styles but are all eager to learn. Many of them come from impoverished homes. Our classroom is a safe, friendly, attractive place to learn with high expectations. Our school is a high achieving school.
