  • Math Munchies

    Funded Mar 24, 2025

Thank you for the generous donations. It has come just in time for our state testings. This will help us start the students off for the tests and boost during the test and a delicious snack after the test. It's keeps them motivated and the brain working their best.

We will also use these snacks during our walking trips. We like to stop and have a quick picnic while enjoying our learning environment outside of the four walls of the classroom.

As a person who sees their students on a daily basis I get to know who needs food to go home with. A delicious snack always puts a smile on their faces”

I am beyond excited to share my love of crochet with my students. This will be a club that will be for students to enjoy in schools and to share with their families. Crocheting offers numerous benefits for mental and physical well-being, including stress reduction, improved focus, increased serotonin levels, and even potential benefits for memory and cognitive function

    THANK YOU!!”

  • STEM for the GOLD

    Funded Dec 25, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations. The stem kits have brought the students together in a learning environment to socialize, have educational discussions and work together. No matter what their levels are in learning the students all have strengths in different areas. They have things that they excel in. Working with their hands to create, build and share their knowledge has really gotten many of them out of their shell and feel self confident.

They really enjoy learning in this capacity and your donations have made this possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kosior

  • Cozy Carpet

    Funded Dec 18, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. The rug has created a cozy environment to learn, work together, and talk. This has given my students a place to gather when they would like to collaborate on projects.

It has also help create a designated reading area. The students always ask to go sit on the rug to work. They grab their book baggies, get comfortable and read!! Sometimes the choral read within their groups.

One of our favorite activities is to use the legos to create different structures using our Social emotional Learning cards.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kosior

  • Treats for Thinking!

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations. The snacks and breakfast foods have put a smile on my students faces. It has made them ready for the school day without having to wait for lunch t get something to eat.

Many of my students live in shelters, foster homes or other circumstances the make food not readily available. It makes them at ease to know they will always have something to eat if needed once they get into the classroom.

It has also made them also see how you can give other things when they are in need. When someone has extra they are always willing to share with someone who doesn't have anything.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kosior

  • In Living Color 2023

    Funded Dec 30, 2023

Thank you very much for your generous donations. This had made it possible to incorporate a more digital aspect into our learning.

They scholars can print out resources when doing research on any subject matter. They take more of a hand on spproach to their Learning. This ownership has made them more confident when choosing what they want to print out.

They student don't have a printer at home and usually go to the library when needed. Now it is available in their daily school life as theirs.”

    With gratitude,

  • Bellies Full, Powered Up for Learning!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation. The scholars are not stressed coming into school. They know if they miss breakfast which is served in the school they will have a snack in the classroom. It has helped when they feel rushed in the morning and get to school late or tired.

It has also helped as an incentive to complete classwork and homework. They get to pick what like like when work is completed. The lollipops are good to used when doing a assignment that might take long. Mid way through a lollipop or jolly rancher is giving to make a strong finish.

We have used the item for the scholars to fill their own goody bags after having a publishing party. Again Thank you for your generous donation. It has been greatly appreciated by myself and "my kids".”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kosior

My students live in a high need, poverty area. They receive free breakfast and lunch. Many stay for after school programs and get dinner at school as well. They are a great bunch of children who deserve every opportunity to succeed. I do not want them to be defined by where they live or the money they have. I want to provide them with the skills to get college ready for the future.
