This classroom project was brought to life by Utah State Board of Education.

Students need help to engage with math and also engage with peers. The items here are allowed to provide students opportunities to use mathematical decision-making and connect with peers in the classroom. Other items are included to allow students to use graphic organizers to help students build confidence in mathematics. Engaged students are more motivated and possess a sense of community needed to address both the learning loss and isolation many are feeling. Community and belongingness are essential to creating a safe and inviting atmosphere. These materials will allow multiple different opportunities for students to build the connections required.
