When learning seems like a game, children enjoy it more. These games will allow individual students and small groups to strengthen their phonics and reading skills. These skills are so important to building the foundation for their future learning.

Funded Sep 2, 2022Thank you for your donation of the art supplies. The children were excited when I shared the news with them. They have used the crayons and chart paper to create drawings and different scenes. They were able to then write about each scene they created.
The children loved using the play-doh creating various creations from people, to animals, to pretend food. They used these cutouts to then create oral stories. The play-doh was also used during center time in which children created letters they were learning out of the play-doh.
Thank you for sharing the same vision as I do when it comes to providing children with the opportunities to explore and learn given the proper materials.”

It is essential to teach even the youngest learners about the importance of being organized. The students were so excited when the bins finally arrived. They were happy to have a place to keep their books safely instead of having them scattered around. These bins will continuously be used by more children every year. Fresh Start
Funded Jul 12, 2021Thank you for your donation of these basic school supplies. It has been such a help to have the students start off the school year with materials they need to begin their learning journey in Kindergarten. It has been difficult for many students and their families to purchase these materials as COVID continues to effect the community. Your donation has eased some of the hardship that goes along with purchasing school supplies.
The children were so excited to receive crayons and a notebook on the first day of school.
The materials will be used by the students all year to create masterpieces of art with their crayons. The notebooks will quickly fill up with writing that features all the learning.”

Funded Dec 4, 2019Thank you for your donation towards the educational games for my classroom. When the package arrived, my students were so happy and could not wait to begin using the literacy games to support their learning.
Upon using the resources, the children showed great excitement. They ask to use the games daily to practice things such as letter names/sounds, sight words, math-counting, and word building/reading.
Learning should be fun, and with your help I am able to provide my students with the foundational knowledge they need in Kindergarten as well as building on their social development as they use these games/resources in small groups and partnerships.

Funded Sep 10, 2019Technology is such an important part of our lives today. Something as simple as printer ink is often overlooked as being essential. With the growing budget cuts in schools today, teachers are unable to gain access to supplies such as printer ink.
Your donation of printer ink will be beneficial in my classroom as it will allow me to print the children's' work samples giving them the opportunity to share their typed writing with their families. The donation will also allow me to print resources for the children such as charts for individual support, emergent readers to help children begin their reading journey, math reference sheets, student assessments and many other resources.

They were so happy to be able to print photos that could be used to strengthen and support their writing. I thank you for your donation towards supporting the education of my enthusiastic learners. Having the printer ink has allowed me to print resources and individualized student anchor charts that will assist them in their learning.

Preserving our Education
Funded Nov 29, 2015Thank you for your donations towards our classroom laminator. This donation has been helpful in creating sturdy, long lasting, reusable resources that the students can use to aid them in learning. The laminator has been used in a multitude of ways within the classroom. So many of my students are visual learners and having a tangible resource such as a laminated charts, vocabulary cards, and games is greatly beneficial to helping them own their learning. The laminated resources allow the students to reuse these materials without falling apart from daily usage and handling.
