Students at our school are hoping to utilize a sensory swing for motor breaks and self regulation throughout the school day. We have a designated sensory area that will be utilized by all students in the substantially separate classroom from preschool to 6th grade. We have an excellent play structure outside, but because we are located on the water, it is sometimes difficult to go outside. This sensory space would be indoors and utilized for individual students and whole groups. Students with autism benefit from movement and building upon self regulation skills. Please help us give this opportunity to our amazing students.
