  • A Final Push to the End of the Year!

    We had the best delivery show up today! Thank you so much for partnering with Donors Choose to help us get ready for our upcoming state testing! The kids were so excited to see the candy rolling in. It helps to bring the stress level down just a tad.

    I also had students giddy to help set up and build our new paper tray. They love getting new treasures to help organize us just as much as I do. A student jumped right into building it for us, asking for tools and all! The students moved paper right into it.

  • It's Time to Update Our STEM Bins!

    Thank you so much for helping me update our STEM bins to get us through the end of the school year and prepare for the new year that will be here before we know it! When student's finish work early they always have the option to move into STEM bins for open exploration and play. It doesn't seem to matter what age I teach, the love for the bins is the same!

  • Gathering Supplies for State Testing

    Thank you so much for helping me get our classroom prepared for the long awaited state testing window. Although it is an event that students and teachers alike do not necessarily look forward to . . . it is a must. I like to do everything I can to create an atmosphere around testing that is cohesive to a comforting environment that will just allow my students to shine.

  • Amazing Teachers Collaborating to Help all Students

    I love that Donors Choose allows me the ability to partner with teachers across the nation in so many ways. Through this project I was able to secure funds that are continuing to allow me to partner with others to meet my students needs. Just this morning I was able to find additional resources to help reteach a skill that my students could use some additional support and practice in.

    The support that I feel when I can reach out to others indirectly to help me enforce learning beyond the curriculum is amazing.
