Math Out Loud!
Funded Aug 2, 2022Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity! My students have enjoyed every bit of using their shiny new math materials! The organization buckets have allowed for us to have a supplies library where students can go and take out materials they need to solve problems while working in whole group or individually. The white boards and markers have given students space for showing their work each day while working on the daily math problems. Each of the math manipulatives have been or will be used as we make our way through the math curriculum, and they are a wonderful opportunity for students to visualize their thinking as well as understand new concepts.
Happiest New Year,
Sincerely,

Funded Sep 20, 2022There are not enough words to express my joy, gratitude, and thanks for your generous donations to my class project. My students and I are so very appreciative of your support for education and creative, hands-on techniques for learning. We are looking forward to receiving the dry-erase table! I know their faces will light up when it arrives. All of the additional hands on materials will be a great tool as we continue to grow and learn in the classroom. We can't wait to share some pictures of us using our new table and centers!
Thank you again!”

Funded Jul 27, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations to our class project! Our students are extremely grateful for the ability to have individual materials to use in the classroom! Now that we are finally back in school, students have excitedly been able to use their materials. Each student got a book bin full of school supplies, a pouch with coloring and writing materials, laminated copies of reusable materials and reference sheets, as well as other supplies. The foot print stickers have proved to be perfect for marking walkways for students to stand on while they are distancing in class, and in line. Thank you so much for helping to create a healthy and safe environment for our kiddos!”

We Can Learn From Home: Math & Literacy Toolkits
Funded Aug 11, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations to our class project! Our students are extremely grateful for the ability to take home math manipulatives and materials to use during remote learning. The Hue camera has been an essential tool for helping students visualize during learning- in math, we have used it to model how to make and break apart numbers using manipulatives and in reading, it has been a resource for sharing texts and read alouds with our students online. Every child received a photo holder full of math manipulatives laminated materials made with the laminating pouches and card stock so that they would last a while. Each small piece of material purchased with your donation helped to make take home kits that have been used daily throughout the remote period. I know we will be forever grateful for your kindness!”

Funded Aug 23, 2019Thank you so much for your amazing and generous donations to our classroom. We are working so hard to make a great space for learning and growing.
My students use our writing tools daily across several subjects. The jumbo crayons, markers, pencils and primary style books are perfect for little hands to practice their writing, spelling, and math skills on a daily basis. They take great pride in showing off their work every day.
Each child was given a set of crayons, a pair of scissors, and a notebook to go in their desk. They are able to use these tools for every subject from reading to science.
The beautiful ABC carpet makes our classroom library bright, colorful, and inviting. The students enjoy looking at the different colors and sitting on a different animal during reading time.
These tools have certainly helped to set my students up for success!”

First Grade's Second Chance
Funded Dec 15, 2016Thank you so much for your kind donations to my classroom. This project has made a huge difference in every class that I have taught using these materials. Students are able to sit in a variety of ways while they do their best learning (and even collaborating)!
The first class to receive these materials were so excited to rearrange our classroom and get to work. The students came up with the idea of having "Chairless Fridays" where they pushed their desks to the side and worked on the floor, in the wobble seats, or lounging on the soft seats. This made learning time both fun and productive and gave the students the opportunity to learn in a variety of spaces.
Even though I will be in a new room this year, I am excited to continue using these materials with my students. Thank you so much for your generosity!”

Making Kinder(garten) a Little Kinder
Funded Apr 7, 2016Dear Donors,
Thank you is not strong enough to express how grateful we are for your help in making our classroom a little kinder. Our students are able to use these new materials daily to help engage our students in learning. Each piece of equipment helps us to create an environment in our classroom that is "kinderbaby" friendly, warm, and engaging!
Our students are able to surpass language barriers and learning styles and use these materials in ways that help them learn in a way that's best of each of them.
My paraprofessional and I told our students about our exciting website, and we sent "sprinkles" and crossed our fingers that the project would get funded. The day our package arrived the students were ecstatic. One part excited for our new materials, one part excited to receive mail. They helped us to open some of the supplies, and were eager to offer to "test things out."
The Build a Word stamps were an immediate hit. Students enjoyed practicing their sight words and creating sentences using the stamps and paper, and held each other accountable for taking good care of the stamp pads so as they didn't dry out. This engaging activity helped the students to remember and put to practice new words they were learning.
Their definite second favorite was a toss-up between the Broad Tip Markers and the Place Value Blocks. Our students love to write, and the broad tip markers allowed each of them to choose a color to practice writing words and sentences as well as practicing their math facts! The Place Value Blocks were a huge hit as our students were learning to count by ones to one hundred, and tens to one hundred. They loved being able to manipulate numbers as they counting and it acted as a valuable practice tool for many of the students.
On behalf of our whole class, my para, and myself, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Carroll
