I teach at a Title One School, which means my students are very diverse and come from many walks of life. Our indigent population hovers around 85%. That doesn't mean our students do not want to learn or have fun in school. These children are active, and need lots of hands-on activities to keep them interested, and on task. First graders are starting to learn how to organize and keep up with materials needed throughout the day.
