Flexible seating will allow my students to learn in every corner of our classroom. They can engage in different centers around the room or just look for that comfortable spot they need when having their own reading time. Flexible seating is not only for comfort and flexibility, it also helps with effective learning and proximity for engagement. This seating is more comfortable and allows natural movement, which the students need from time to time to stay engaged. Flexible seating helps keep young minds more alert and focused which leads to academic growth. While at centers, small group , whole group or even one to one intervention the rolling white board will always come in handy. It is accessible and students will also feel comfortable knowing that mistakes can always be erased. This will positively enhance the comfort, focus and engagement in my classroom.
