    Funded Dec 10, 2023

Thank you so much for generous donations to my class project. My students were so excited to receive our new tools and love getting to use them in our flex space.

When unboxing the tools, students were so eager to see what was in the boxes and immediately began helping me take all the pieces out of the plastic. All the tools are magnetic, so they quickly placed to pieces on our magnet board and began trying to figure out how they work. It was so much fun watching their excitement as they tried to figure out how to use each tool. I loved seeing the productive struggle that lead to them figuring it out on their own!

Once again thank you for making this project possible for our class. Students are so happy to have new tools to use during center time!”

    With gratitude,

  • More Motor Skills!

    Funded Feb 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my project. My students have loved using the tools in our class. I'm so excited to say that the impact has already reached 40 students as I have been able to use the tools last school year and have already begun using them this current school year.

Students benefit so much from read alouds and enjoy the time on the rug to hear a story related to our unit of study. I also enjoy reading to students as this is a great opportunity for me to foster the love of reading in students.

We also received lots of fine motor skill developing activities. This has been wonderful for students as they develop skills that will help them write later on.

Thanks again for your help. We are so appreciative!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Tiffanie L White

  • Extra, Extra, Read All About It!

    Funded Oct 20, 2022

Thank you so much for your donations to my project! It has been wonderful having new texts in my classroom to read aloud to students.

We have thematic units that we change about every 4-6 weeks and with this project I was able to get books for upcoming units. Students loved hearing the new stories and some they wanted to hear over and over again. I love having books on theme as it's a great way to get the benefits of listening to stories, while also teaching in the content area.

The best part is that I will get to use these books year after year, class after class and impact lots of students with great literature.”

  • Extra, Extra! Read All About It!

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

Thank you so much for these wonderful books! I am so excited to use these books in my classroom as they have many great uses other than just being great read alouds.

I got several lift a flap books and these texts are great for building student interest as well as developing fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are so important at this age. It is a precursor for writing.

I also got several books about emotions and feelings. Students sometimes have a hard time adjusting to the school environment and these books provide an age appropriate lesson into how to deal with our feelings.

I cannot wait to read these books to my students. Once again thank you so much for this generous donation.”

  • Cool, Calm and Collected!

    Funded May 6, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to this project. We are working hard at implementing conscious discipline in our classroom and I needed some supplies to complete my calm down area. Once I got these tools my students were so happy to use them, even when they didn't need to calm down. My students have access to these tools all throughout the day and it provides an opportunity for them to self regulate and calm themselves when they are feeling out of control.

Once again thank you for the donations because it has made my calm down area a wonderful place for students.”

  • More Fine Motor Fun

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my class project. My students were so excited to get our new tools for learning. They saw the boxes come and kept asking, "What's in the box Miss White?" When I opened it they wanted to know if they could play with it right now! I love their enthusiasm.

I love that they are building on their fine motor skills while they are playing and they don't even realize it. They love building legos on their new baseplates and use them everyday. they also have really enjoyed using the drill set. They are learning how to hold the drill correctly as well as how to use a wrench. This is great fine motor practice and they love it!

Once again thank you so much!”

  • Fine Motor Fun

    Funded Nov 20, 2021

Thank you so much for your amazing generosity and support of my class. My students are elated to have these new wonderful tools in our classroom.

Their favorite has been the lock and latch puzzles. This has been a great opportunity to work on their fine motor skills, while also practice colors, numbers, and counting. They love unlocking all the different types of locks.

The race tracks have also been a hit. They love creating different types of tracks and racing their cars. I love the technical way they have to put the tracks together which is great fine motor practice.

We will use the pencil grips soon, but I am finding that the puzzles and tracks are building on their fine motor skills so much for now.”
