  • Calm Down, I Just Need a Minute

    Funded Feb 12, 2024

Thank you so much for investing in my sweet kiddos. They are the sweetest bunch of students and some of them haven't been dealt the best hand. Your donation will show them that there are still good people in the world and they are worth it. I can't express my gratitude enough!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Miller

  • Relax, Regroup, and Regulate

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

The students who come to my room are so thankful for you! The things that were purchased with this donors choose project has changed the atmosphere in my room tremendously. They are using the items to regulate themselves when they're having a hard time.

My friends who visit me, love the comfy choices for seats and can relax however they'd like. The games we received have been very helpful when we just need a quiet minute to regulate. The fidgets and and other hand held teasers have been able to help students who need them concentrate again in class.

We are very grateful for your donations and couldn't do what we do without people like you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Miller

  • Writing Writing all the time!

    Funded Aug 22, 2015

Thank you so much for our new writing supplies. We had one big white board in our room but we had to use it as a class or take turns during center time. Now, students can each have a white board whenever they want to start writing. They even have brand new markers and fancy erasers. They can hardly contain themselves!

I am using the white boards mainly in small groups. This is where I can differentiate instruction and work on exactly what each individual student needs. Our new boards have lines on the back so that they can practice their handwriting as well!

I am so grateful for the support you have shown to help us progress in Pre-K. This year in school we are setting the foundation for years to come and we can make it even better because you chose to help!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Miller

  • Learning To Read!

    Funded Jun 5, 2015

Thank you so very much for supporting my sweet students. They are always looking for new books to expand their minds and now they have a plethora of new books to choose from. They were so thrilled when I told them that people thought they were the best of the best and that people thought that they deserved new things for the classroom.

My students are using these materials in many ways. We are using them in whole group lessons so everyone gets an opportunity to experience a new adventure. Some of my more advance students are already beginning to to independently read the leveled readers. My students also get to share the new books with their book buddies who come read to them once a week. This means that these new books are enjoyed by two classes weekly.

My students feel so empowered with these new books. The students that can read independently already are soaring high with new found confidence. The class as a whole feels like their education means so much to more than just our school. Thank you so much for showing these students how important education is to everyone.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Miller

I have a diverse group of students in my classroom. They come from all ethnic backgrounds and all financial families. They love coming to school and learning. I love exposing my sweet students to the newest things available to them to enhance their learning experience. Some of my students have the luxury of technology at home and some do not and coming to school is sometimes the only way they will get to experience new age technology. We need to enrich them and give them a head start for their future.
