My school is a small school serving less than 300 students. We are located in a small neighborhood in a suburb of Los Angeles. Our students come from all backgrounds and from all levels of technological experience. We have strong parent and PTA support that helps teachers create (and fund) positive educational experiences. Due to the fact that my school is not a Title One School we lack the state support that lower performing schools receive. Our PTA does an incredible job with fundraising but they can only fund so much. I am often buying supplies for my own classroom, as are many teachers today.
