Exploring 6th Grade Math is Awesome!

The students are thrilled to have the flexible seating to learn in a relaxed environment. Our regular seating is at tables for four with uncomfortable chairs. The flexible seating allows the students to sit in a comfortable seat. They also have a space of their own or can work in a small group. The daily question for each class is, can we sit in flex seating today? Students from other grade levels have come in the room and are in awe of the flexible seating.

Pencils, pencils, pencils! The 6th graders have greatly benefited from the pencils each day. They often come to class without a pencil to do their math work! The dry erase markers are also used daily. When not taking notes in the math notebooks, the students solve problems directly on the table with the markers. They enjoy doing this!
