Technology, Art and Math! (TAM)
Funded May 9, 2023Thank you so much for your donations. We were able to get printer ink and graph paper for the students to really showcase the student's strengths and make sure we have visual learning in math.
Rather than having to print from home (many do not have this option) or find a friend or family member with a working computer and printer, they will be able to print from our classroom.
In addition, my students have small, sticky graph paper to go directly into their notebooks. We waste so much time drawing the x and y axis before they graph. Since they have these sticky notes, we are able to do so many extra questions!
Thank you once again!”

Ms. Laraichi

Funded Jan 1, 2023These snacks are going to help my students, especially the ones that stay after school, focused! They will need these snacks to keep their motivation going so that they can learn math as they are in an intensive after-school program.
When I first pulled out the snacks, my students were so happy! I explained how fortunate we are that people donated to this cause so that they can be even more inspired to do more work. These people are proud of them for wanting to stay after school and improve their scores.
THANK YOU for providing necessities for these students.”

Technology, Art and Math! (TAM)
Funded Mar 25, 2022My students and I are so appreciative of your generosity!
These items were amazing in helping to make sure we have ink available for the student when they want to print something - especially their artwork! Many of my students do not have access to printers at home so this enables them to print their work before submitting it.
I truly love the graph paper as its easy to post on computer paper, notebooks and other surface. This makes it really easy for the kids to get more graphing done without the worry of having to create graphs by hand.”

Funded Aug 24, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donation of an iPad. The students are able to use it to showcase their work, see my work in live action, create videos to teach others and self-assess themselves.
Everyday, they are able to see my work that I can put on the iPad and even show their classmates some work as well! We use many resources with it such as Quizizz, Khan Academy, Kahoots and Quizlet and more!
Last but not least, they are able to use this iPad to expand their artwork, especially with the apple pen. Thank you so much for helping my students and my classroom!”

Funded Sep 25, 2020Thank you SO much for this apple pen. As this year has been so uncertain, it's been wonderful to be consistent with my teaching - remote or in person. In person, I use the pen to write my notes on the board so I can circle around the students to make sure they are understanding the concept (from a distance of course!). When we went remote, I use it to record videos, show them LIVE lessons of the math that is happening. We could not be more grateful to have something consistent in these times. With your generosity, I can continue to do what I love - teach math.
The students are so appreciative to see the work digitally. It reminds them of the classroom and gives them hope that we will be in person again!”

Technology, Art and Math! (TAM)
Funded Nov 18, 2019Technology is so important in the classroom. It keeps my students engaged, it collects data to help drive my instruction and it enables me to give my students different modalities so they may learn new items. Thank you for allowing me to give my students all these resources so they can expand their knowledge through technology and art. My students have a way of expressing themselves and they like to showcase their learning through games and activities such as Khan Academy, Kahoot, Quizizz, Google Classroom and Quizlet live.
Your continued support is appreciated!”

Funded Jan 31, 2019Thank you so much for donating to my classroom! We will be only to utilize the ink to print out so many projects and different differentiated worksheets for the students. We are so excited for the laminating pouches so I can laminate their math work! I also started creating my own posters that I laminate and hang around the room to make my classroom more colorful!
My students are so grateful for all that you have contributed to the classroom and how colorful and decorative the classroom now is.
Thank you so much!”
