My classroom has an assortment of student needs. I have students who are very motivated about learning and others who are unsure. I have students who do very well in school and others who struggle because it is hard. My struggling students learn best when they have the opportunity to have hands-on materials to help them grasp math concepts. It is hard when I don't have the resources to get them the manipulatives that they need. I teach in a Title 1 school. Many of the students qualify for free and reduced lunch due to lower socioeconomic conditions.
