• Help Our Lacrosse Program!

  Thank you for helping our Lacrosse program reach their financial goal to complete this project. The ordered equipment is vital to the safety and participation of many student athletes.

• Frankford Pioneers Football Uniforms

  Funded May 22, 2017

  The Varsity Football Team really appreciates the donations to help fund new uniforms. As an inner city school that struggles financially it is an honor the so many people chipped in to make new uniforms a reality. It was an incredible experience watching the team open the boxes to see the new uniforms they would get to wear. As the Athletic Director, it has really been a pleasure watching the players wear these uniforms that weren't worn down and stained. I look forward to getting use out of these quality uniforms for years to come.”

• Help Us Start A Fitness Center

  Thank you for your assistance to help us create another stage of our fitness room. The students have really enjoyed the equipment and are starting to see and feel the benefits. Our staff prides itself in teaching and helping students understand the importance of lifetime fitness. This is such an essential portion of our Physical and Health Education program. Without your help many of our students wouldn't have the luxury of using equipment that targets so many different areas of their bodies. Adding kettlebells and a battle rope are really unique. These are pieces of equipment that most of the students have never seen or used. The dumbbells and 45 lb. bar also completes another portion of our center.

  As an inner city school many students unfortunately get used to using makeshift and worn down equipment. Thanks to your help that is not the case in our fitness room.”

  The Lacrosse team really appreciates the donated equipment. As an inner city school that started a lacrosse program 3 years ago from scratch, with used equipment, the new materials that have been added to their supplies are incredible. It was a lot of fun watching the team open the boxes to see all the new equipment they would get to use. As the Athletic Director, it has really been a pleasure watching the players use the equipment at their indoor practices. I look forward the the weather warming up and for the games to begin to see it moved over to our outdoor fields.”

  It is with much gratitude that I write this letter in expressing thanks to those responsible for Frankford High School

  receiving the Marcy Smith Training Machine. Like most public schools in Philadelphia, Frankford has been hit hard by severe budget cuts. This machine will greatly enhance our physical education classes. This machine is multi-faceted and will enable students of all abilities in getting the physical activity they need.

  Frankford has always prided themselves on their physical education department. The school has always been able to develop students into healthy teens through physical exercise. This machine will allow Frankford to continue its tradition of its winning ways both in the classroom and the athletic fields.”
