I teach in an urban school district and have 100 students in my Fifth Grade Reading Classes. My students come from varied socio-economic statuses and from a variety of ethnic origins. My school encourages students to be life-long learners and readers. My goal is to motivate my students to love learning and especially love reading. I want them to realize that reading can transport you places without even going anywhere.
