My first grade students are from a rural community with varied backgrounds who come to our Title 1 school eager to learn. For my students to have the skill set needed to compete with their peers for jobs and other opportunities, they need the chance to become savvy in many content areas, which requires a variety of resources in the form of books, manipulatives, technology and hands-on learning opportunities.

About my class
