Partner With Me in Educating Children with Autism
Funded Oct 21, 2015Dearest Donors,
I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving us the opportunity to be the recipient of your gracious generosity. My students have been using the materials in our everyday learning. The weighted lap pads, textured balls and fidget toys have been very useful in helping the kids focus and channel their stimulatory behaviors to more appropriate and acceptable behaviors. The radio has been a great instrument in making the students learn letters, numbers and rhymes using songs and cd's. The alphabet and number file folder games have helped the students remember and learn important basic learning for Math and language arts.
When we received the materials it was like Christmas all over again. The joy in their faces will forever be etched in my heart and my memory forever. The parents and my school administrators were very happy as well and they can never stop thanking you enough for everything that you have done for my students.
My student will continue to learn more and more using the materials that we have been provided through your help. My next project will be moving up to learning how to read and write and teaching the students through technology in the classroom.
Again from my classroom (room 21) to yours.....We thank you for people like you who care about the education of children with special needs. We will forever be grateful!!!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Verceles
Support, Inspire and Educate Kids with Autism
Funded Dec 19, 2014I would like to sincerely thank your company for supporting my students and their pursuit to education. My students were very happy when they received the materials.
The beanbags are now being used in our classroom library, the musical instruments are being utilized during music and movement time, the manipulatives such as the linking cubes and the beads are being used to strengthen finger hand dexterity for improving writing and coloring. The letter stamps are being used by the students who are not able to write their names yet.
With the materials that I received, my students are on their way to achieving their goals and objectives in their educational plans. It has helped me differentiate my lessons to better tap on individual strengths of students. The materials received made my lessons fun and more hands on.
Words are not enough to express how we really feel about your generosity. Again from all of us....a big HUG and THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Verceles
