I teach ESL students from diverse cultural backgrounds and low socioeconomic status, that limits their exposure to many experiences. These students are bright and eager to learn, but need some exposure to increase their background knowledge to make academic connections through virtual tours, apps, videos and visuals. Learning a different language is hard work, so anything I can do to make it more fun and engaging increases their chances for success.

About my class
