  • Hatching a New Life!

    Funded Nov 21, 2012

My class appreciates your donations so much. It is so wonderful to think that there are people out there in the world that still value a child's education. My students are great kids, and they deserve all the learning materials they need to get the best education possible. I want my classroom to be a fun learning environment where we can use supplies like these to do hands on activities to keep students engaged. We want to thank you so very much, and we appreciaite your donations so much. We are just thankful that there are people out there like you.”

  • Learning About Habitats

    Funded Nov 15, 2012

We have received our new aquarium and my students are so excited. Their faces lit up as I was preparing it for the fish. Although our fish have not arrived at this point, we cannot wait to start observing their habitat. My students will get so much pleasure from watching and caring for these fish. This will also be a great tool to teach them about responsibility as well. We are just so glad that there are people out there that still value education and know how much schools appreciate when people like you donate your hard earn money for supplies for the students. You guys are wonderful people.”

I just want to take this opportunity to thank all of you guys for your generous donations. They mean the world to us. These chairs will brighten our classroom and make my students to much more comfortable. My students are wonderful kids who live in a very high poverty area. I want them to have a safe and comfortable feeling classroom to come to every morning, so they can be happy while they are at school. I am just so thankful that there are people out there like you who want to bring smiles to a child's face. Thank you so so much!”

  • In Need of Table!

    Funded Dec 22, 2011

Your donations made our new table possible. This table gives my students a great area where they can comfortable work during centers or other times throughout the day. It is so great to know that there are people out there that still value education. These students are such great kids and I want school to be the place where they feel safe and happy. I want them to have the best resources possible for them to use. We appreciate your donations and this table will not only be used for these students. This table will be in my classroom for many years. It will last a very long time.

    Thank you so much.”

  • Desperate Need of Chairs

    Funded Nov 16, 2011

Our class is so thankful for Aveyron's generous donations. These new chairs gave our classroom such a face lift. We need new furniture because the furniture we have is very old. I want my students to be able to have the best resources possible because for some of them school is the best and safest place of their day. These children are great kids and they deserve the very best and you guys did that for them. We will be able to use these chairs for years to come with many more students. Thank you guys so much. You do not know how much your donations means to me and my students.”

  • No Stereo No Listening Center

    Funded Aug 26, 2011

This new stereo for our listening center has brought so many smiles to my student's faces. They have been sitting at the listening center everyday on their bean bags relaxing and listening to their favorite stories during our reading center time. They have been so appreciative and excited about using these materials from the second that I pulled it out of the box. I just want everyone who donated to know that you do not realize just how important your donations are to these children. They deserve the best, and you have helped provide that for them.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ramsey

  • I Can't See!

    Funded Jul 2, 2011

I just want you guys to know just how much your donations are appreciated by me the teacher and my students. They have been using our cart wheezel everyday for center and whole group instruction. This cart gives us a place to hold our big books while we are reading them and gives us storage underneath the books for other centers as well. It helps the students to be able to see the books, and they don't have to struggle to be able to see them. Once again thanks everyone for your donations. They have brought so many smiles to my student's faces already and will continue to do so. These kids deserve the best and you have given that to them.”

  • Squished Like a Bug

    Funded Dec 15, 2010

Our class wants to thank you so much for donating the money for our new table. We will use this table so much for so many different things. My students are so much more comfortable and can see me so much better during small group instruction. They also use this table during math as well for centers and small group instruction. This table really brightens up our classroom as well and makes it look so much nicer with new furniture. One again me and my students just want to thank you so much for your generosity. Its nice to know that there are people like you out there that care so much about students.”

  • Techno Trouble

    Funded Aug 2, 2009

My students are very lucky to have people still out there that value education and know how important it is for students to have available technology to use in the classroom. My computers did not work at all and these computers will be such a great tool for programs that we were not able to use before. We will also actually be able to use great websites on the Internet also that we have not been able to use. I want to thank you all so much and my students really appreciate all of your donations. I just can't say thank you enough.”

  • Crafty Kids

    Funded Aug 11, 2009

Our Cricut Expression has been a great and fun tool for our classroom. We have recently started adding our new words to our word wall using the Cricut. The kids love to use it and I really think that they pay more attention to the word wall because of this tool. We will use it more often for crafts and other projects also. As a teacher, it is also a great tool to make things for bulletin boards and things of that nature. It makes projects look very creative and catches people interest. Thanks so much for all of the donations. We really appreciate all that you have given us. &nbsp”

Our school is a very small old school located in a very rural area. The building is very old and is lacking technology. We do not have any way to make attractive crafts for our classrooms and bulletin boards. This school is a very high need community because there are so many children here that have a hard time once they go home because of their economic status.
