My students are 8th graders at a small school located in Southwest Oahu. Over half the students receive free or reduced lunches and about 15% are English Language Learners. I will be teaching them Earth and Space Science, and I want to instill in them a curiosity about the world around them. I have found that the best way to do this is to engage them with hands-on projects and labs, and I hope to obtain a large variety of labs so they will be engaged for the whole school year.
