  • Lightening Quick Vocabulary

    The students have greatly benefited and utilized the the new resources in every lesson thus far. Just to give a few examples: The amazon tablets helped students research topics in depth, see images in color that are related to the topic, and look up vocabulary very quickly. the students were ecstatic when they first saw the new material. The next steps for the students in the current classroom is to create a well rounded classroom culture that is accepting of each other and of learning. The students are extremely thankful for your donation!”

  • Soccer Goal Nets

    Funded Nov 4, 2015

    The student athletes and I are using the new soccer goal resource to practice for the Fall 2016 soccer season. The Public School Athletic League requires schools to have soccer goal nets in their inventory for home game days.

    The student athletes reacted with extreme cheer and happiness when they first saw the new soccer goal nets. They now know for certain that we will hold a full soccer season without any restrictions or game forfeits.

    The next steps for my student athletes pertaining to this project will be to care for the new material, use it only when necessary, and by making our donors proud by giving back to our school community.”

  • Speaker for Foreign Movies to Expand Literacy and Knowledge

    This technology has helped tremendously in the blended multi-sensory approach to literacy with my Special education students. Students have benefited from the clarity in sound of this technology.

    The most exciting part about the product for my students is the ability to clearly head the sounds, voices and sound effects in the foreign movies we watch, discuss and write about. The foreign movie draw on the interest of students

    All my Special Education student cannot wait for movie Fridays that occur once every month. The foreign movies we watch are impact, sometimes life changing and broaden the general/world knowledge of students. Many of my students verbally expressed the impact of the movies and how they made the concept relatable to their lives.”

The school fosters a great supportive relationship but lacks the financial resources to accommodate hands-on learning approaches.
