    Thank you so much for your generous donations towards our technology project! Your donations contributed to our class receiving enough computers so that students can work in small groups or one-on-one to research topics ranging from our units of inquiry to tools to help with math.

    Our students really enjoy the reliability of new technology and the ease with which the computers operate.

    Our English language learners have especially benefited from the new technology and this has bridged a gap for them as they can connect via technology with their English speaking peers.

  • Kindergarten Technology Update Needed

    Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom technology upgrade. Technology has helped us research for all of our six units of inquiry and has supplemented our math curriculum by providing access to a myriad of online math tools.

    The new iPads are familiar to many of our students and so there is minimal technological difficulties and learning has become so interactive. Our students are particularly excited about being able to access content on a format that is familiar to them and that they are successful with implementing.

    We have several students who are English language learners and our iPads have helped them bridge the language barrier, as technology is a universal language.

  • 21st Century Updates

    We want to send a heart-felt THANK YOU for funding our Kindergarten Technology project! The update in technology helps our students access online learning programs that are both developmentally-appropriate and engaging. Online learning programs integrate transdisciplinary learning, which supports our units of inquiry.

    The ease with which students can log themselves on, access sites and get straight into their learning is most exciting for us all. Technology has made opportunities for exploring the various styles of learners and thinking in our class.

    We have several students who are not able to access a similar level of technology at home and this bridges the gap for all in terms of technology use during their school day.
