Many of my students have autism and struggle with developing and using communication skills. Technology is highly motivating for these students and an iPad will motivate and encourage them to participate in speech and language therapy. Building strong language skills is necessary for participation in school and beyond. These students will benefit from apps specifically designed to address speech and language skills such as articulation of speech sounds, basic spatial, time and quantity concepts, vocabulary development, sentence structure, social skills, and so much more. By developing these skills, my students will be better prepared to participate in academic and social situations.

About my class
