Research shows that students learn better when given choice in seating. We have a fully operating flexible seating classroom. Students have choice about where to sit and on what. They are not required to stay in one place all day long. They move about the room according to their needs and the project/assignment. Students can stand, sit on high stools, crate chairs, bucket seats, ball seats, rocking chairs or on the floor. With 33 students I need more seating options. My students love the options and the freedom. We know with enough seats we will have plenty of places and ways to make learning fun and productive.
