Creating a Safe Environment for All Learners!
Funded Nov 20, 2024This is incredible! There aren’t enough thank you’s for your generous donations towards our classroom! The privacy divider will help make students feel safe/secure and the floor cushions are a great alternative for those who want the option to sit around the room comfortably. We are so thankful!”

P.E Class Isn't Just an Extra; Our Students Need it
Funded Oct 24, 2019Thank you very much for your support to our classroom Our students stay in their classroom all day (do not transition) so getting to PE class and being able to run around and let out some energy is very important to their day.
Their favorite thing by far is the basketball net! As I mentioned, we do not go to the "regular" gymnasium so we have to make due with the space that we are given. Our students love to play basketball! It is a great way for them to interact and play appropriately with their peers. The other equipment is also used by students in our special education self contained classrooms. They love using the balls and the scooters! It gives them an opportunity to interact with their peers in a different learning environment!
Thank you so much again for your generosity.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Mission Tiger and 2 other donors.Math and Success Add Up!
Funded Nov 20, 2013The cards that the children wrote do not express how truly grateful I am that you were able to help fund our math project. Math is one of my students strong points and they enjoy it so much. Using hands on math manipulatives and games really makes a big impact on their learning!
The students just love the telling time clock! Learning time is a hard concept for some students so getting that hands on experience is great! The pop-up addition is wonderful because I can use that for all my students since I was able to get different levels (up to 10, up to 20 and up to 30).
Again, wish we could do more than a thank you note, so please accept my sincere thanks on making a difference in my classroom. Although we may never meet, you've made an impact on my students.”

Mrs. Csekovsky
Wanted: Creative And Productive Centers
Funded Dec 25, 2012I am so grateful for your donations to my project. It's wonderful to see that there are generous people (like you two) who share my vision for what reading should be to my students, and are just as excited as I am about helping them learn to read! I am humbled by your collective generosity. The possibilities that you have provided for my students are truly exciting!
These enhancing activities will easily be integrated into every chance that we get when we are doing ELA time in the classroom. These students will gain so much from all the activities that you provided for us. They will learn the foundations fo reading and in time, they may learn to love reading because of your generous contribution! The hands-on manipulatives will make it so much easier for them to understand the basics of reading including blends, sight words and building words themselves.
My students and I are truly delighted with the literacy centers that we can now use. Reading groups would not be the same without it. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us purchase all of the invaluable tools for our classroom!”

Mrs. Csekovsky
Reading Center Central!
Funded Mar 20, 2010This is just a very small token of my appreciation and gratitude for your generous donations to our classroom. The bean bags and room divider have made a great impact to our classroom environment. We work in groups a lot and the divider is a great tool to give them privacy
The Help Yourself Language Trays are wonderful for the children to use during center time. It helps them with their alphabet, vocabulary and phonemic awareness. The Rhyming Puzzle and Touch and Write Simple Words are great tools for them to build their English Language Art skills in writing. We could always use more ways to incorporate science into our classroom so the plant learning center is going to be a fun way to learn!
Without donors like you, hundreds or thousands of classroom would go without help. Thank you so much again!!”

Funded Jun 1, 2009This is just a small token of my gratitude for all of your generous donations. All the materials that were purchased help my students out everyday. There are a lot of distractions in our room and the cushion balance bagel, the disc-o-sit junior and the pillow neckease all give my students the support they need to stay in their seats. The body sox is a wonderful tool that allows the student to feel pressure on their body. The vibrating snake is a great stimulating aid which helps the student focus.
All of these materials are for Occupatioal Therpay that the children only get once a week because of the shortage of money to hire therapist. Without your help my students would only be getting the help they need one day a week so because of you, they get to have some sort of O.T everyday!
Without donors like you, classrooms across America would go without the help they need.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Csekovsky
Be Active in Our Learning!
Funded Jan 28, 2009This is just a very small token of my gratitude for your amazing donation to my classroom! The rug and bean bag game that you donated have made such a wonderful impact on my students. Every day we use the rug to practice our numbers and wow what a difference it has made. The children learned their number and shape words by using the bean bag game. The children and I have been creative as well, making up our own games using the bean bag letters! With donors like you, who have a generous and giving heart, thousands of classroom will benefit from your support!! We thank you so much!!

Manipulative Mania!!
Funded Dec 18, 2008You have given my children a gift that they will love, use and appreciate. Most of all, I appreciate your thoughtfulness and your kindness. The best part about this is that the children will be so excited to get new "toys," but I am so excited that they will learn with these new "toys." We love to use hands-on manipulatives in our class and with your generosity, they can continue learning while having fun. Thank you so much again from the bottom of my heart. This is such an unexpected surprise!”

Mrs. Csekovsky
